Vermont State University (VTSU) invites applications for a part-time clinical instructor position to support simulation instruction in its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Working collaboratively with nursing faculty to achieve learning outcomes, the Clinical Instructor facilitates student learning and supports the integration of nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, and professional practice behaviors across a variety of healthcare and educational settings. The Clinical Instructor serves as an educator, role model, mentor, and liaison between Vermont State University and affiliated healthcare agencies, promoting a positive and effective learning environment that supports students' success, patient safety, and professional growth. The Clinical Instructor provides instruction and facilitation for nursing students participating in simulation-based learning experiences. The Clinical Instructor assists students in applying concepts learned in the classroom to realistic patient care scenarios that promote clinical reasoning, clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and evidence-based nursing practice. The Clinical Instructor serves as a mentor and role model while fostering a safe learning environment that supports student growth and professional development. Clinical Instructor Responsibilities:
