The Department of Nursing in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) at the University of Vermont (UVM) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position at the rank of clinical assistant/associate professor to serve as a clinical faculty member and Department of Nursing Director of Simulation Education. In addition to contributing to the teaching mission of the department, this position provides strategic, administrative, and faculty leadership for all simulation-based education within the Department of Nursing, including low-, medium-, and high-fidelity simulation. This is a 10-month appointment.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive Department of Nursing committed to excellence in clinical teaching, student mentorship, and innovative nursing education. The Department includes approximately 40 full‑time and 40 part‑time clinical faculty who work collaboratively to educate a vibrant and diverse student body of more than 500 undergraduate students and over 100 graduate students. Academic offerings include an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Direct Entry Master’s program, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, including a direct entry option.
