Job summary

Luna is seeking a Clinical Instructor for a part-time adjunct/fixed-term teaching role at LCC Main Campus. The position offers 20 hours per week with compensation of $40–$46 per hour.

The incumbent will supervise students in clinical settings, liaise with clinical facilities, and support nursing education through assessment and mentoring. Qualified candidates hold an RN license in NM, an ADN at minimum, and will pursue a BSN within five years.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing accepted.
• Must obtain a Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision of students in various clinical experiences and serves as a liaison to assigned clinical facilities.
• Evaluates student outcomes throughout the curriculum utilizing assessment data to improve teaching strategies within courses.
• Advises and mentors nursing students for success.
• Collaborates with faculty within the college and other institutions to meet student needs.
• Maintains currency in the field by participating in professional development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
