This position is responsible for facilitating student learning in clinical settings, ensuring safe and effective patient care experiences, and promoting the integration of nursing theory into clinical practice.
The Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor plays a vital role in preparing competent, entry-level nurses by mentoring students, evaluating clinical performance, and fostering professional behaviors consistent with nursing standards. This position requires clinical expertise, effective teaching and communication skills, and strong collaboration with healthcare partners, faculty, and program leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and positive clinical learning environments.
Performing the essential functions of this position requires the use of a computer throughout most of the workday, the ability to navigate a typical office environment, significant amounts of interpersonal interaction including oral and written communication, and the ability to keep track of multiple tasks, projects, deadlines, information sources, and business processes.
