Palmetto Infusion in Greenwood, SC seeks a Clinical Inspection Pharmacist to perform monthly audits of the medication storage area and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role is PRN with a typical schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, requiring a PharmD, an active license, and proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; teamwork and composure under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with an active pharmacist license.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment with a calm demeanor.
• Able to collaborate effectively with the Palmetto Infusion team.

Responsibilities

• Performs written monthly inspections of medication storage area and clinic.
• Locate policies and procedures maintained by the Director of Pharmacy and review yearly.
• Follows all statutes and laws regarding medication documentation.
• Under supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, assist with recalled medications.
• Reviews for outdated and improperly stored medication and supplies.
• Inspects clinic medication room recording for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicates inspection results to the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacy team regarding restocking medications.

About the Role

The Clinical Inspection Pharmacist performs monthly audits of medication storage area to utilizing the Monthly Audit Checklist and fulfills the duties of SC 40-43-86 (C ) (1) (f).

Schedule: PRN, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

Minimum Qualifications

Experience/Education:

• Graduation from Accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active pharmacist license
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
