Palmetto Infusion in West Columbia, SC seeks a Registered Nurse Clinician to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions. Schedule is PRN, Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00, with Saturdays as needed, serving West Columbia and traveling to other clinics as needed.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license, 1 year of infusion experience, and BLS. Proficiency in Outlook/Word/Excel and teamwork are essential to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical infusion setting.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The purpose of the Registered Nurse Clinician is to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Schedule: PRN; Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.

Service Areas: West Columbia, SC and may travel to other clinics as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy.
• BLS or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word,Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calmmanner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions:

• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.
• Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner.
• Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers.
• Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations.
• Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses.
• Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services.
• Accurately perform all nursing duties according to the state nurse practice act while adhering to company policies and procedures including, but not limited to:
  • accessing and maintaining central lines and PIVS
  • obtaining lab specimens
  • collecting vital signs
  • Safely administer intravenous and injectable medications as ordered by prescribing physicians
  • documenting patient care
  • responding to and accurately reporting adverse drug reactions
  • assisting with administrative duties as needed

About the Benefits:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $40/hour. Final compensation is based on factors including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
