Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, seeks a Clinical Deployment Consultant (Mid-America) in San Diego, CA. You will maintain customer relationships, lead clinical implementations of BD Infusion products, and provide education to facilities during presales and deployment.

You will collaborate with hospital clinicians and EMR vendors, guide cross-functional teams, and address clinical issues, ensuring solution value and compliance in a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Degree required.
• 4-6 years of experience in related field.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred, with nursing informatics or leadership experience.
• Must have a valid driver license and be at least 21 years old.
• Home-based position with travel; travel 75-100% including overnight.
• Must provide proof of immunizations and vendor credentials.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of clinical operations, products, services, and competitive background products.
• Provides clinical leadership to BD customers in the implementation of interoperability and connectivity products.
• Interacts and supports Project Manager to ensure timely and productive implementations.
• Collaborates with hospital clinicians and EMR vendors to facilitate clinical workflows.
• Reviews and facilitates customer awareness of HL7 error codes.
• Escalates issues to clinical and technical SME when appropriate.
• Provides follow up to customers for system assessment, satisfaction, problem solving, and evaluation of BD solutions.
• Develops recommendations to ensure customers experience full benefit of BD solutions.
