Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Clinical and Health Informaticist to analyze workflows and design functional specifications for clinical HIT software at the Peaks Regional Office in Colorado.

You will collaborate with caregivers and IT teams, participate in implementations, training, and process improvements, and apply informatics principles to boost quality and patient safety.

This role requires strong communication, flexibility, and a track record of successful informatics projects.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of workflows in a healthcare system.
• Experience engaging providers, nurses and clinicians through presentation and communication.
• Apply informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to quality and safety.
• Participate and lead Informatics project deliverables.
• Experience with Cerner, Epic, or other EHR vendors.
• Experience or training in Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business and clinical caregivers to build productive relationships.
• Work flexible hours to meet project requirements.
• Provide customer experience and service utilizing verbal and written communication skills.
• Prioritize and organize work with attention to detail and limited supervision.
