Job summary

UPMC Corporate Health Services is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to support the Care Efficiency and Innovation Team. The role is hybrid with onsite travel to UPMC facilities, travelling weekly across West Central PA/Western MD region to Altoona, Bedford, Somerset, and Western Maryland hospitals.

Under the direction of the DCOI, you will assess, develop, and implement new technology for clinical practice, serving as a liaison for end users and the informatics division.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships internally and externally, demonstrates accountability for actions, and fosters a healthy workplace.
• Participates in research activities, system validation, and informatics projects; supports education of end users on new or upgraded applications.
• Assists in planning, coordination, and communication for go-live events and ongoing informatics initiatives; provides data and reporting as requested.
