Oak Street Health seeks a Clinical Informatics Specialist (Medical Scribe) in Greensboro, NC to support providers with in‑room documentation and post‑visit summaries. You will become proficient with ICD‑10/CPT coding, EMR use, and the practice's population health tools.

Ideal candidates are strong typists, able to work full‑time in the clinic, and committed for 1–2 years in a value‑based care setting. HIPAA compliance and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of 55 WPM minimum, 70+ WPM preferred.
• Able to commit to 1 year minimum, 2+ years preferred.
• Full‑time in‑clinic role with predictable hours (about 40–45 hours/week).
• Strong listening and communication skills; self‑starter and team player.
• HIPAA compliance and ability to learn new workflows quickly.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in the exam room with structured notes.
• Prepare After Visit Summaries and ensure accurate documentation.
• Quality CPT and ICD‑10 coding support and documentation review.
• Support providers and care team with administrative duties as needed.
