Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices in Kentucky seeks an EMR liaison to support physicians, nurses, and clinicians in maximizing EMR utilization and improving patient care. You will collaborate with site IT, HSC leadership, and SME to implement, educate, and test EMR products across facilities.

The role requires strong clinical EMR experience, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Travel up to 20% may be required in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical field required (RN, BSN, BS Respiratory Care, BSMT, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical EMR experience.
• Moderate computer skills: email, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets.
• Advanced communication; may train others and present to management.
• Experience with projects, upgrades across multiple clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians in workflow discussions and EMR adoption.
• Round with clinical staff to identify EMR issues and educate.
• Participate in implementing certified EMR applications and interfaces.
• Coordinate testing before and after upgrades.
• Develop rollout plans for new EMR functionality.
• Serve as liaison between clinicians and support staff.
