Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Allentown is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to enhance, support, and maintain applications with a focus on patient care impact and quality improvement.

You will collaborate with clinicians, IT teams, and analysts to optimize workflows and ensure successful deployment of new tools. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (RN preferred) and experience with clinical information systems; Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; RN license required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Epic certification or informatics training within 2 years of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with integrating information systems into clinical areas to support quality patient care.
• Participate in analysis of clinical environments and evaluation of emerging technologies.
• Provide end-user support for clinical applications and workflows.
• Assist in workflow analysis to maximize efficiency of information systems.
• Collaborate with staff and providers to implement system enhancements and innovations.
• Participate in IT implementation and upgrades with design input, testing and training support.
• Develop and maintain clinical IT and analytics expertise.
• Assist adoption of predictive analytics into clinician workflow.
