Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a clinically grounded informaticist to bridge IT and clinical teams at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. You will coach providers, resolve tickets, and support Cerner and other clinical technologies.

You will work with a health-system team to pursue Epic accreditation, improve workflows, and enhance care delivery while prioritizing patient safety and data accuracy in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; RN preferred.
• Requires current Indiana health professional license (e.g., RN...).
• 3–5 years of clinical experience.
• Experienced user of health information technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between IT and clinical/operational partners at Ball Memorial Hospital.
• Provide day-to-day Cerner support and work toward Epic accreditation.
• Support additional clinical technologies used across the care environment.
• Coach new providers and clinical staff on health information systems.
• Resolve support tickets and provide both virtual and on-site assistance.
• Proactively round in offices and clinical areas to build relationships.
• Support data analytics and quality measures to improve population health.
• Use process improvement and change management to increase efficiency.
• Consider impact of tech changes on patient safety and care quality.
