Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Clinical Informaticist in St. Petersburg, FL to partner with clinical, administrative and analytics leadership.

The role develops and implements informatics strategies and supports procurement, implementation, maintenance and optimization of IT products. It integrates clinical workflows with data analytics to identify innovative solutions and collaborates across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Two years of clinical analytics experience in acute care or ambulatory setting.
• Licensed clinician with a current license in area of specialty.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clinical and IT stakeholders to support IT products.
• Analyze current business processes to align clinical needs with IT capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement and optimize clinical informatics solutions.
• Provide in-person support for stakeholders using clinical technologies.
• Ensure HIPAA and privacy compliance across systems.
