Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Clinical Informaticist to partner with clinical, administrative, and analytics leadership to develop and implement a strategic plan for clinical informatics. The role involves procurement, implementation, maintenance and optimization of IT products, integrating clinical workflows with data analytics to drive innovative solutions.

Collaborate with clinicians, IT and business units to support and advance healthcare IT initiatives, with a focus on improving patient

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Licensure as a clinician by the Department of Health (RN, RRT, PT, etc.).
Two years of clinical analytics experience in acute care or ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities

Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and team members across the continuum of care.
Acts as a liaison with IT teams and assigned business units requiring IT-based solutions.
Communicates initiatives and outcomes with stakeholder groups.
Coordinates execution and use of IT products; provides in-person clinical technology support.
Translates technical concepts into operational and clinical terms to meet stakeholder needs.
Participates in governance processes for new technology requests.
Reviews IT usage and identifies opportunities for optimization and workflow improvements.
Analyzes current business processes to align clinical needs with information technology.
Facilitates clinical insights to improve patient outcomes.
