Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. seeks a Nurse/IT liaison to align clinical practice with the health system’s digital strategy.

The role designs, evaluates, and optimizes workflows for care delivery, documentation quality, and patient safety; translates clinical needs into EMR solutions; supports build, testing, and end-user training. Responsibilities include planning and managing EMR implementations, analyzing end-user usage patterns, and driving education to improve workflow

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Related field.
3 years progressive clinical/healthcare experience with demonstrated leadership.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Teamwork and self-motivation.
Detail-oriented with multi-project coordination.
Knowledge to extract key data elements; MS Office and Visio.
EPIC Certification - Epic Systems within 180 Days

Responsibilities

Support planning, implementation, and ongoing management of EMR systems and other technology.
Link practice guidelines to electronic records and evidence-based concepts.
Create/maintain documentation and decision support tools for consistency.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, students, staff, vendors, and the public.
Develop standards for assessment, development, and implementation of applications and systems.
Leverage NEAT/Signal data to analyze EHR usage, identify pain points, and design education and training.
