The role focuses on optimizing EHR usage, improving documentation, and supporting the adoption of clinical technology. You will collaborate with clinicians, IT, and operations leaders to translate needs into practical solutions that enhance care team experience and patient outcomes.

Formación

• RN/LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
• 4+ years in clinical practice, healthcare operations, or related setting.
• Experience using, supporting, or optimizing an EHR system.
• Strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with workflow improvement, system implementation, or technology adoption.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

WellMed Optum Florida is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to connect clinical practice and technology, helping care teams deliver efficient, coordinated, high-quality care.

This role applies clinical expertise to improve electronic health records, streamline workflows, strengthen documentation, and support the adoption of clinical technology. Partnering with clinicians, IT, and operational leaders, the analyst translates clinical needs into practical solutions that improve the care team experience and support patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and optimize clinical workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and patient care.
• Support EHR enhancements, system implementations, testing, and ongoing optimization.
• Partner with clinical and technical teams to translate operational needs into effective technology solutions.
• Improve clinical documentation, data quality, and decision-support tools.
• Support technology-enabled workflows for quality, population health, risk adjustment, and value-based care.
• Provide clinician training, workflow guidance, and support for technology adoption.
• Help evaluate automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Current RN, LPN, or LVN license in the applicable state.
• Four or more years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare operations, healthcare technology, or a comparable setting.
• Experience using, supporting, training, or optimizing an EHR system.
• Strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with workflow improvement, system implementation, or technology adoption.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field, informatics training or certification, and experience with eClinicalWorks, Medicare Advantage, or value-based care are preferred.
