Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington seeks a program coordinator to coordinate student clinical field experiences in accordance with TEA regulations, identify placements, verify documentation, and facilitate clinical teaching seminars and events.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in education, three years of K-12 teaching, a valid teaching certificate, and TEA experience or seven years of equivalent education/experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education and three years of K-12 teaching experience.
• Valid teaching certificate and TEA knowledge or seven years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with coordinating or supervising clinical experiences is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate TEA documentation for student field experiences and placements.
• Identify, coordinate, and verify documentation for clinical placements.
• Train supervisors and collaborate with faculty and students.
• Communicate activities related to clinical experiences with stakeholders.
• Ensure paperwork is received, completed, and uploaded per TAC.
• Assist with state and federal reports and coordinate seminars and events.
