Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Clinical Placement and Experience Coordinator to manage student field experiences in line with TEA regulations. You will identify placements, verify documentation, and coordinate clinical teaching seminars with faculty and supervisors.

The role requires collaboration, strong communication, and meticulous record-keeping; occasional after-hours work and travel between campus locations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required and three years of teaching experience in K-12 mid-level or secondary content.
• Valid teaching certificate is required.
• Understanding of TEA clinical experience requirements or seven years of equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate TEA documentation, hire and verify credentials of qualified supervisors, identify clinical placements.
• Communicate activities related to clinical experiences with students, program coordinators, and clinical supervisors.
• Complete and verify field office documentation and ensure TEA compliance for student field experiences.
• Ensure paperwork is received, completed, and uploaded; make clinical assignments; submit supervisory documents per TAC.
• Assist with state and federal reports.
• Facilitate clinical teaching seminars and events with faculty and inform students of requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
