Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services seeks a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in Hillsborough County Schools, Riverview, FL. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop IEP-based goals, and collaborate with educators, families, and professionals to promote student success.

As a CFY SLP, you will work in the school setting, provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and contribute to ongoing professional growth within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Valid limited state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Florida.
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.

Position Overview:

As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based interventions to support student success.
