This is a supervisory role that requires supervision of a CFY SLP in a school setting. This role requires 2 hours of direct in-person supervision and 2 hours a month of indirect supervision (reviewing notes and documentation, collaborating with CFY) within the Okaloosa school system.
4 hours per month
Complete a minimum of 6 hours of direct observation and 6 hours of indirect mentorship per CF segment (approximately 12 weeks), totaling 18 hours of each across the full CF experience.
Conduct real-time observations of the Clinical Fellow during evaluations, treatment sessions, and counseling activities.
Provide indirect mentorship, including:
Coordinate scheduling with the Clinical Fellow to ensure all required clinical competencies are observed and assessed within each segment.
Ensure supervision activities are appropriately distributed across the segment (no more than 6 observation hours in a single day).
Provide ongoing guidance and support tailored to the Clinical Fellow's performance and any applicable state or district requirements.
Conduct at least one formal performance feedback session per segment, documenting progress and areas for growth.
