Job summary

GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY seeks a Clinical Faculty Coordinator to support Concordia Irvine's Accelerated BSN program in the Rancho Cucamonga area. The role emphasizes building partnerships with clinical sites while maintaining academic program alignment.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, CA RN license, and 2+ years of teaching experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to guide adult learners and collaborative faculty efforts.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Unencumbered CA RN License.
• Two years teaching experience as preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director to identify, select, monitor, and evaluate clinical adjunct faculty and sites.
• Coordinate with course faculty to align clinical experiences with course/outcomes.
• Serve as first point of contact for clinical personnel issues between site staff, faculty and students.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty.
• Mentor new adjunct faculty in clinical teaching activities.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage makeups.
• May teach in lab or clinical courses.
