Job summary

Orbis Education invites applications for a Clinical Faculty Coordinator to expand nursing education in the Rancho Cucamonga area. You will work with the Director to recruit and evaluate clinical adjunct faculty and sites, ensuring alignment with program outcomes.

The role requires a BSN, CA RN license, and about two years of teaching experience. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $115,000 per year with a full benefits package and tuition-related perks.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Unencumbered CA RN License.
• Two years combined teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab.
• Able to meet challenges of adult learners with diverse backgrounds; self-directed and innovative; excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty and clinical sites.
• Align clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals.
• Resolve clinical personnel issues between site staff, faculty and students.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty regarding site and nursing coursework.
• Mentor new adjunct faculty in clinical teaching activities.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage makeups.
• Possible teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical course.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Compensation: $80,000-$115,0000 annually

What You Will Do:

• Work alongside the Director to identify, select, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty and clinical sites.
• Work in conjunction with course faculty to establish alignment of clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals.
• Serve as the first point-of-contact for resolution of clinical personnel issues that may arise between staff at the clinical site and clinical faculty and students.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty regarding their clinical site and related nursing coursework.
• Act as a mentor to assist new adjunct faculty in clinical related teaching activities.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage clinical makeups.
• May have teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical course.

What You Will Have:
