Job summary

Qualifications

• Master of Science or advanced degree in Exercise Physiology or related field
• One year experience in lifestyle management, exercise training, prescription and supervision of medical patients
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans for own caseload.
• Provide monitored exercise therapy to clients with heart disease, diabetes, COPD, etc.
• Collaborate with the Lifestyle Management Team on clinical decisions.
• Communicate using the AIDET framework with patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about disease, progress, and treatment plans.
• Participate in clinical team meetings to review current case load.
