Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a passionate Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation team. You will develop and deliver individualized exercise programs that help patients improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health, regain independence, and achieve lasting wellness.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with cardiac/pulmonary rehab experience and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.
ACLS certification preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire.
ACSM CEP/RCEP/CCR P certification required within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

Assess patients including BMI, body composition and exercise evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized exercise prescriptions per ACSM guidelines.
Monitor progress, vital signs and cardiac rhythms during sessions.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and conferences.
Educate patients on exercise, lifestyle changes and disease management.
Maintain safety and handle emergencies in rehab environment.
Maintain rehab equipment and ensure safety standards.
Support cardiac and pulmonary programs and wellness events.
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with Beacon Health System values.
