Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to oversee exercise testing, screening and counseling, creating individualized exercise prescriptions for patients with chronic diseases. You will assess patient responses, adjust plans, and document in compliance with CMS timelines.

You will deliver inpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab services, coordinate referrals, and support patients in executing prescribed activities, while maintaining professional knowledge through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or related field.
• ACSM-CEP (Clinical Exercise Physiologist) required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate progress in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab and Medical Fitness programs.
• Modify exercise prescriptions based on patient response and needs.
• Document discharge plans with patient, family, physician and rehab staff.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient exercise physiology services in collaboration with medical staff.
