Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to lead quality improvement initiatives, ensuring evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance across units. You will support data collection, chart abstraction, and outcome measurement while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to drive patient safety and care excellence.

The role requires current IL RN licensure or equivalent, a BSN or related degree, and 3–5 years of hospital clinical experience.

Qualifications

BSN or related healthcare bachelor's; if no BSN, enroll within 2 years and complete within 5 years.
3–5 years of clinical practice in a hospital setting.
Knowledge in quality improvement activities and use of current evidence based practice.
Knowledge of change management theory and process.

Responsibilities

Identify and use clinically relevant evidence sources for assigned projects.
Oversee data collection and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
Assist team with data collection methods and data definitions.
Participate in chart abstraction for outcomes and databases per data definitions.
Provide assessment using evidence, develop recommendations and strategies.
Communicate recommendations and facilitate evidence-based changes.
