Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Clinical Engineering Tech I or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment management and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair on medical devices.
  • Experience using a CMMS for documentation and asset tracking.
  • Ability to read equipment manuals and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair assigned medical equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on medium/high risk devices.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and document outcomes in CMMS.
  • Adhere to PHI confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with providers, colleagues, and customers as needed.

Job Description:The Clinical Engineering (CE) Tech II is responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned medical equipment. Performs various tasks associated with installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of clinical equipment with minimal supervision. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the job and an intermediate level of expertise.
