Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Clinical Engineering Tech II in Grand Junction, CO. The role covers maintenance, installation, calibration, and repair of clinical equipment with minimal supervision. Schedule includes 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

Minimum 3+ years' experience in clinical engineering, with a preference for AS degree or Biomedical Technician Certificate. Ongoing training and regulatory compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working as a Clinical Engineering Tech I, or equivalent.
• Education will be verified.
• Preferred: Associate of Applied Science Degree or Biomedical Technician Certificate Course.
• Experience in assigned medical equipment environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, installation, calibration, and repair of clinical equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on medium risk equipment and a limited number of high-risk medical devices.
• Utilize CMMS for documentation and asset tracking.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for medical equipment management.

Job Description:The Clinical Engineering (CE) Tech II is responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned medical equipment. Performs various tasks associated with installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of clinical equipment with minimal supervision. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the job and an intermediate level of expertise.
