Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering required.
• Minimum of one year of related clinical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of medical-device lifecycle management and healthcare technology.
• Ability to perform data analysis and prepare technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supports evaluation of medical technologies and total cost of ownership.
• Assists with equipment selection, implementation, and lifecycle planning.
• Gathers lifecycle data to support technology replacement decisions.
• Prepares analyses and materials for leadership review.
• Coordinates with vendors for documentation and service information.
• Provides technical support to clinical departments and escalates issues.
• Monitors safety notices and regulatory communications per policy.
• Participates in risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Collaborates with Clinical Systems Engineering and IT for integration and cybersecurity.
• Maintains records of evaluations and projects according to QM system.
• Contributes to staff education on technology use and safety.
• Participates in multidisciplinary project teams and improvement activities.
• Reviews service options and maintenance strategies for technologies.
• Participates in after-hours coverage as needed.
