Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking a senior leader to drive a multi-disciplinary team that connects clinical operations with product and technology to design, implement, and maintain platforms enabling efficient clinical processes.

The role focuses on reliability, compliance, and data-driven staffing decisions to optimize performance across case management, utilization management, IT, data & analytics, and business partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive information technology experience with 1+ staff, team lead or project lead experience.
• Bachelor's degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience may be accepted.
• Masters degree in related field is preferred.
• Utilization Management experience is a plus and valuable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitors system, platform and application performance and escalates issues promptly.
• Provides feedback and coaching on configuration and related activities.
• Oversees policy and procedure development, metrics, and QA for Medical Management platforms.
• Oversees configuration, implementation, and maintenance of medical management software systems.
• Assists team in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to medical management platforms.
• Analyzes data and reports outcomes to ensure platforms enable strategic operations goals.
