Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking a data analytics professional to support strategic initiatives across provider, health management, quality, product development and client/member analytics. You will work with partners to clarify requirements, analyze complex data, and present meaningful, defensible results that inform decisions.

You will build dashboards and reports using Power BI and Databricks, apply epidemiologic study designs and statistical methods, and translate insights

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related data analytics professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted.
• Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Databricks) to develop dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience evaluating healthcare programs using administrative claims and population health data.
• Experience applying epidemiologic study designs, statistical modeling, and quasi-experimental methods.
• Working knowledge of healthcare or managed care environments, including HIPAA.
• Ability to learn new tools quickly and maintain a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely and to collaborate across teams.
