Job summary

BD is seeking a Clinical Specialist to execute clinical programs across the Medication Delivery Solutions portfolio. The role supports conversion, implementation, and education, reporting to the Clinical Manager. Travel and process optimization are key aspects of the position.

The ideal candidate is an RN with relevant vascular access experience and strong training capabilities, prepared to travel extensively to support customers and end-users in multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree preferred (BSN preferred).
• 5 years general nursing experience, with 3 years ultrasound-guided vascular access device placement (PICC & midline) preferred.
• Strong communication and training skills; ability to influence without authority.
• Willingness to travel up to 70–80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage responsibilities within travel and expense budget.
• Provide monthly updates to the Clinical Manager on regional training activities.
• Facilitate customer training classes for conversion or retention opportunities.
• Collaborate with Regional Team to support customer engagements from pre-sale through post-conversion.
• Develop strong relationships with end-users and provide product in-servicing and clinical education.
• Provide routine follow-up support at end-user locations.
• Conduct regional training for contractual nursing support.
• Collaborate to optimize scheduling for maximum results.
• Conduct vascular access management assessments to support Vascular Care and Vascular Access sales.
