Ideal candidate will reside in or around Texas.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Clinical Consultant plays a key role within the Sales and Marketing organization. The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving customer relationships, focusing on enhancing revenue in existing and new accounts. This individual should have a strong clinical background and understanding, with the ability to develop a Center strategy and influence senior leaders and stakeholders. A proven track record in customer relations and strategic planning is essential.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Consulting:
  • Assess facilities and implement training and improvement plans using holistic account principles and business models.
  • Understand staffing models, nursing demands, and facility productivity to improve financial outcomes.
  • Motivate nursing staff, ancillary staff, and leadership to achieve goals.
  • Mentor Clinical Educators to enhance their knowledge and facilitate the consultative process.
  • Create and execute customized growth plans for facilities to optimize patient outcomes and financial success.
  • Assist in quality improvement and patient outcome management.
  • Guide customers on marketing their programs effectively.
  • Collaborate with NxStage area and regional account executives on strategic planning and resource allocation.
Nurse Training:
  • Train and motivate nursing staff for successful patient training and maintenance.
  • Support organizations in developing and sustaining training programs.
  • Train nursing staff on NxStage therapy concepts and applications.
  • Provide physicians with information to support prescriptions and methods.
  • Identify priority accounts for engagement and development.
  • Communicate regulations and policies at various levels.
  • Plan and conduct regional educational sessions for nurses and patients.
  • Maintain clinical competency through literature, meetings, and product knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Physical demands and work environment are typical for this role; accommodations may be made for disabilities.
  • Significant travel required (up to 70%).
EDUCATION:
  • RN required, BSN preferred.
  • B.S./B.A. or equivalent preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 5+ years in sales or clinical education within the dialysis industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, positive attitude.
  • Located for easy and short travel to target accounts.
