Job summary

Louisiana Delta Community College seeks a Patient Care Technician and Medical Assistant Instructor to join the Academic Affairs team in Tallulah, LA. This 9-month, unclassified faculty appointment involves delivering high-quality instruction across formats and maintaining records of attendance and progress.

The successful candidate will hold a PN or RN license in Louisiana, LDH Train-the-Trainer certification, and at least four years of related professional experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Louisiana PN or RN license.
• LDH Train-the-Trainer certification is required.
• Minimum four years of full-time professional experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality instruction using effective teaching strategies.
• Teach classes in various formats including day, evening, weekend, hybrid, online, and clinical settings.
• Maintain regular office hours and accurate attendance/grade records.
• Respond promptly to student, faculty, staff, and community inquiries.
• Develop, review, and revise curriculum to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist with student assessment, advising, placement, and progression.
