The instructor will plan and deliver courses across formats (day, evening, hybrid, online, clinical), maintain records, support student progression, develop curriculum to meet accreditation standards, and collaborate with healthcare partners to advance workforce development.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana PN or RN license; LDH Train-the-Trainer certification.
• Minimum four years of full-time professional experience in a field related to the occupational program.
• Strong commitment to student success, customer service, and instructional excellence.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and foster an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality instruction using effective teaching strategies and materials.
• Teach classes in day, evening, weekend, hybrid, online, and clinical settings.
• Maintain office hours and records related to attendance, grading, and student progress.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and the community.
• Attend and participate in faculty, departmental, and institutional meetings.
