Job summary

The Donor Network Inc is seeking an Organ and Surgical Services Trainer to lead education for Organ and Surgical Services teams, Donation Development, and Family Services. The role develops and maintains competency-based training programs and coordinates on-site education across departments.

You will assess training needs, design modules using adult learning theory, and ensure records are up to date. Occasional on-call evaluations may be required to validate staff competency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or biological science with 2 years of Critical Care experience.
• 3 years of related coordinator experience; trainer/preceptor experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to manage LMS administration and content authoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site training for Organ Recovery, Donation Development, and Family Services staff.
• Develop and implement annual training plans and materials.
• Coordinate training activities; onboard new staff and provide ongoing education.
• Conduct post-case debriefings and sign off on independent practice readiness.
• Ensure training records are current and aligned with policy.
