Job summary

LifeSource is seeking a Training and Education Program Administrator for Organ Services in Minneapolis. Lead the design, development, and delivery of organ donation training aligned with regulatory requirements; develop onboarding curricula and competency assessments for clinical roles.

You will collaborate with SMEs, deliver in-person and virtual sessions, and maintain education records while coaching preceptors and improving program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Requires combination of education and experience equivalent to 7 years of inpatient hospital and/or operating room experience.
• Proven experience preparing and delivering training programs with knowledge of adult learning theory and program evaluation; simulation activities preferred.
• Prefer experience in the organ, eye, or tissue donation industry.
• Must obtain a relevant certification in the procurement/transplant field within two years of entry; maintain CE credits.
• Public speaking skills are essential for in-person and remote facilitation.
• Strong leadership with written and verbal communication; motivate peers and solve problems.
• Organized, detail oriented, with excellent critical thinking and analytics.
• Ability to provide high level customer service to internal and external customers; HIPAA aware.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable with EMR systems and mobile tools.

Responsibilities

• Define educational requirements for onboarding, skills, and validation based on regulatory expectations.
• Design curricula and courses using instructional systems for effective adult learning.
• Develop course documents, objectives, content, scenarios, activities, and post-tests via LMS.
• Create curricula for positions like Donation Coordinator, Surgical Recovery Coordinator, and others.
• Provide coaching to orientees; monitor development plans and progress.
• Create and maintain educational records; track performance and outcomes.
• Deliver in-person or virtual trainings; observe and coach preceptors as needed.
• Oversee operations of curricula deployment and version control.
• Coordinate events, manage assets, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
