Job summary

Union Health in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Clinical Educator to support Med/Surg, Medical Rehabilitation units and supervise unit education. This full-time day shift role collaborates with nurse leaders to design growth and development plans, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive learning environment.

The position emphasizes unit orientation, competency management, and ongoing professional development, with opportunities for leadership and participation in residency programs.

Qualifications

• Current IN RN license.
• MSN preferred, will accept BSN working towards MSN (MSN required within 3 years of hire).
• Specialty certification in clinical concentration or nursing professional development preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful clinical experience in acute care, prefer Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Unit orientation of new employees.
• Unit competency management.
• Ongoing development of unit education based on organization and unit needs.
• Support in achievement of unit and organizational goals.
• Professional development: leadership, coaching and nursing excellence.
• Encourages participation in the Professional Advancement of Clinical Excellence program (career ladder).
• Active in Nurse Residency.
