Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine seeks a Clinical Educator to design and deliver training for clinical staff across the hospital. You will develop programs aligned with patient care goals and collaborate with Nursing Directors to support education initiatives.

The role requires RN licensure, current BLS, at least 5 years of acute care experience, and ideally 2 years of teaching experience. This Full Time, Days shift position is exempt.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Educator provides educational services for areas of clinical and patient care services to attain the Hospital's objectives, mission and values established by corporate administration. Supports corporate-wide programs, policies and procedures are developed to assess, evaluate and meet the needs of the patient. Assists with development and implementation of education plans for providing training in all clinical settings. The Clinical Educator provides hands on training for clinical staff to support the educational goals for the hospital. Implements an effective, ongoing training program to measure, assess and improve the quality of care, treatment and services delivered to all patients. The Clinical Educator shall work collaboratively with the Nursing Directors to provide educational services to staff.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
• Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience preferred.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00 to $52.14. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
