Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking an Administrator of Clinical Education in Phoenix to oversee the Health Service Psychology internship and Postdoctoral Residency Program. The role reports to the Chief Psychologist and requires coordinating accreditation, supervising trainees, and aligning program design with the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Provide quality clinical consultation/supervision to staff and trainees across adult, adolescent, and child populations.
• Knowledge of general mental health issues and evidence-based interventions for SMI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• APA-accredited doctoral degree in psychology or related field.
• Current unrestricted AZ Psychology License.
• Minimum 2 years’ licensure experience as a psychologist.
• One year supervision experience for psychology trainees.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise doctoral psychology interns, practicum students, and post-doctoral residents.
• Develop and manage clinical activities and assessments across departments.
• Coordinate Health Service Psychology Postdoctoral Residency annual match.
• Coordinate weekly psychology Colloquium and partnerships with university programs.
• Maintain APPIC and APA accreditation.
• Ensure high-quality training experiences for students in training.
• Develop professional conferences and training events as required.
• Participate in SB&H and health plan committees as needed.
