Qualifications

• Provides ongoing clinical education to frontline staff.
• Delivers orientation and onboarding in assigned area.
• Develops staff coaching and feedback to support initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships with frontline clinical staff.
• Conveys information clearly across media to engage and educate audiences.
• Serves as mentor for new staff and preceptors.
• Responsible for unit-based onboarding and orientation.
• Teaches staff how to manage patient care from assessment to discharge planning.
• Participates in Performance Improvement projects and professional organizations.
• Supports UPMC Experience initiatives such as Bedside Shift Report and Hourly Rounding.
• May require training outside traditional hours depending on unit needs.
