Job summary

The Assistant Program Director will develop site partnerships, coordinate rotations, and implement simulation-based training, shaping the next generation of anesthesia providers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Anesthesiology or related field.
• Current certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a CAA.
• Demonstrated commitment to education and the advancement of the CAA profession.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse clinical partners.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage clinical site partnerships and contracts.
• Coordinate student clinical rotations, placements, and scheduling.
• Design and oversee simulation-based training experiences.
• Assist with ARC-AA accreditation documentation and reviews.
• Mentor students in clinical skill development and professional behavior.
• Maintain part-time clinical practice through Lipscomb partnerships.
