The Assistant Program Director - Clinical Education & Simulation will build clinical sites, coordinate rotations, and lead simulation-based training to ensure ARC-AA alignment and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Anesthesiology or a related field.
• Current certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a CAA.
• Demonstrated commitment to education and the advancement of the CAA profession.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse clinical partners.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Site Development and Management: Manage existing clinical site contracts and establish new partnerships.
• Clinical Rotation Coordination: Coordinate student rotations, placements, and scheduling; monitor progress with preceptors.
• Simulation-Based Training: Develop and oversee simulation-based training experiences and assessments.
• Accreditation and Compliance: Support ARC-AA documentation and track clinical outcomes.
• Student Support and Professional Development: Mentor students and address clinical concerns; assist orientation and preparation.
• Clinical Practice and Service: Maintain part-time clinical practice via Lipscomb partnerships; participate in committees.
