Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Clinical Education Training Center Instructor to develop, deliver, and evaluate clinical education and workforce development programs across the organization.

The role focuses on high-quality instruction in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and related life-safety training, using simulation and adult learning principles to prepare providers for critical events and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required, 3 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and facilitates certification and re-certification courses in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other programs according to ARC standards.
• Prepares, sets up, and cleans up simulation equipment and training materials before and after classes.
• Evaluates participant performance, provides constructive feedback, and ensures mastery of course content.
• Maintains compliance with ARC instructor and course monitoring standards.
• Keeps detailed and accurate records of class rosters, evaluations, and certification data.
• Assists with curriculum updates and incorporation of best practices and feedback.
• Participates in Training Center governance, staff development, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Facilitates clinical simulation and debriefing.
• Serves as a mentor and resource for new instructors and interdepartmental clinical educators.
