The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and regulatory credentials, with at least two years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing Program required.
• BLS American Heart Association (basic) required.
• Oncology/chemotherapy credentials may be required for applicable units.
• ACLS required for ICU/ED/Pre-Op and other areas.
• PALS required for pediatric areas, with exceptions.
• Newly licensed RNs have time to obtain ACLS/PALS and fetal monitoring credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assesses quality of patient care delivered.
• Evaluates patient and family needs and provides patient-centered care.
• Manages complaints and conflicts through resolution.
• Ensures regulatory compliance across department.
• Oversees equipment, supplies, and staffing needs.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Coordinates staff performance, scheduling, and training as needed.
• Supports department goals aligned with organizational strategy.
