Job summary

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) seeks a Clinical Education Coordinator to support 3rd and 4th year podiatric medicine students. You will coordinate clinical rotations, scheduling, credentialing, compliance, and maintain related records across multiple systems and sites.

Responsibilities include managing rotation schedules, credentialing verification, and acting as a liaison among students, faculty, sites, and departments.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of work experience in business, industry or higher education preferred.
• Efficient and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other internet resources.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain student clinical rotation schedules, including in-house and external rotations, ensuring accurate placement and communication across stakeholders.
• Coordinate fourth-year clinical rotation scheduling by integrating information from students, AACPM Clerkship, GME, external sites, and other sources; resolve discrepancies.
• Manage student clinical credentialing and compliance requirements, including collection, verification, maintenance, and submission of documentation.
• Administer and maintain the college’s clinical education information system (eValue) with schedules, credentialing data, evaluations, and related records.
• Coordinate student clinical evaluations and related academic processes, including monitoring completion and maintaining records.
• Serve as an administrative liaison among students, faculty, clinical sites, preceptors, affiliated organizations, and college departments.
• Reconcile and verify information across multiple systems, identifying missing or inaccurate data and coordinating follow-up.
• Maintain resources and materials for clinical education and ensure FERPA compliance.
