Job summary

You will collaborate with faculty, students, and staff to support learning and patient care with tailored information resources.

The role includes teaching, virtual/in-person research assistance, and participation in library committees, with a focus on evidence-based resources and clinical decision support.

Qualifications

• Master of Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• At least 2 years combined library, teaching, IT, informatics, or biomedical research experience.
• Knowledge of discovery and access tools and databases used in libraries.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet patrons' needs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with hybrid work environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide curriculum support for students and faculty in the medical and nursing schools.
• Collaborate with faculty and students to deliver customized library services.
• Create learning experiences and LibGuides to support learning and patient care.
• Provide virtual and in-person research assistance.
• Build relationships with faculty, residents, and staff regarding library services.
• Participate in collection development and evidence syntheses.
