Job summary

The ADCE is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the clinical education portion of the DPT curriculum. This is a faculty position with teaching, scholarship, advisement, and service responsibilities in addition to the administration of clinical education.

This position requires significant contact with students, outside constituents, professional consortiums, and ADCE faculty at the other USA campuses.

Qualifications

• Post-professional doctoral degree required. Candidates currently enrolled in a post-professional doctorate program will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as SCCE or CI in Physical Therapy or a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development and administration in a Physical Therapy program.
• Experience with distance learning preferred.
• Experience in scholarly activity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical education site development and assessment.
• Mentor clinical faculty and oversee clinical education staff.
• Communicate with affiliated clinical education sites and faculty.
• Plan and evaluate the doctoral residency component and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with other campuses and program directors on student outcomes.
