Job summary

Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Education to coordinate, advise, evaluate, and enhance the clinical education component of the curriculum. This role works with the DCE, another ADCE, and the Clinical Training Manager to manage affiliation partnerships with sites in the U.S.

and abroad. The successful candidate will advise students, enforce policy, evaluate performance, and participate in accreditation processes while teaching as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctoral preparation and clinical experience required.
• At least two years mentoring students in a clinical setting or teaching.
• Eligible for physical therapy licensure in Oregon.
• Preferred: clinical education administrative experience, teaching in PT, CCIP, ABPTS, or related doctoral degree.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and manage affiliation partnerships with clinical sites in the U.S. and abroad.
• Advise students on clinical experiences to meet graduation requirements.
• Communicate with clinical instructors and students.
• Review student and site feedback.
• Attend weekly team meetings for planning and strategy.
• Participate in accreditation processes.
